A Weekend to Remember: Thank You for an Amazing Studio Tour
The 2026 Eldorado Studio Tour is officially behind us, and what an incredible weekend it was!
We couldn’t have asked for better weather, and it was wonderful to see so many people out exploring the studios and supporting local artists. A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by Studio #33 to see my work, talk about art, and spend a little time with us.
One of my favorite things about the Studio Tour is the people. It was great to see so many familiar faces return this year, and just as exciting to meet new visitors who were discovering my work for the first time. I loved hearing your reactions, answering questions about my pyrography and watercolor process, and watching people connect with individual pieces.
And an especially heartfelt thank you to everyone who collected one of my pieces. Seeing so much of my work leave the studio for new homes was incredibly rewarding. Knowing that something I created will now become part of someone else’s home and life is one of the best parts of making art.
The weekend was a tremendous success, and by the end of the first day I was already rearranging the walls to fill the spaces left by sold pieces!
Of course, there isn’t much downtime after the Studio Tour. I’m already back in the studio, and now it’s time to start working on the commissions that were ordered during the tour. I’m excited to turn those ideas into new pieces and share some of the process along the way.
Thank you again to everyone who visited, collected artwork, shared my work with friends, followed along online, or simply stopped in to say hello. Your enthusiasm and support mean more than you know.
Until next year — back to the studio!
